What is Project PACK?

PACK logo

Project PACK is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting victims of sexual assault with Post-Assault Comfort Kits throughout Massachusetts. In 2006, Project PACK was initiated by a BSU alumni when the need was first recognized by hospital nurses. These PACK items are typically requested by survivors during the detailed evidence collection process with hospital nurses. The organization was officially incorporated in June 2013. As the support for this program grew, so did the number of patients assisted by the program. The PACKs were initially only distributed to the hospitals on the South Shore in Massachusetts. Now, the organization has expanded to distributing to hospitals throughout the state in 2012.

How can I donate to Project PACK?

The BSU Peer Educators have partnered with Project PACK to support survivors throughout Massachusetts by providing them with a small bag of necessary items. Many locations on campus will have the donation baskets throughout October. Since the program was started on campus, the BSU community has donated 400 complete kits and enough materials to create an additional 300 kits when combined with donations from other groups. We need your help to make a difference by making these bags possible available.
